We have spilt chemicals on our carpet. Can it be fixed?

Yes, our colour dyeing process will cover any bleach spots, stains and chemical spills.

Can you dye our carpet to match our new sofa?

Yes, we offer a selection of colour dyes and we will match the colour of your new sofa.

Can all carpets and rugs be dyed?

No, carpets and rugs that are made from polypropylene and acrylic cannot be dyed.   However, carpets and rugs made from wool and nylon can be dyed.

Is carpet dyeing safe?

We use non-toxic and odor-free dyes and solutions.  Our process of carpet dyeing is safe for you, your children and your pets.  Read our Material Safety Data Sheet here.

Is carpet dyeing expensive?

Dyeing your carpet is much cheaper than replacing it.  In fact, carpet dyeing will typically save you between 65% and 75% when compared to the cost of new carpet replacement.

Do I need to have the carpet cleaned before it is dyed?

Pre-cleaning of your carpet is not necessary as our process will clean and dye the carpet in one step. Gentle cleaning solutions are added to our dye mixture which will leave your carpet looking fresh and clean, in the colour of your choice.

Do I have to move my furniture?

We ask that you remove any small and loose items as well as any fragile items. We will move all major furniture.

Do you dye the carpets and rugs on site?

Our Carpet Dyeing service is provided at your premises.   Our Rug cleaning and restoration service is undertaken in our specially equipped workshop.  You can drop off your rug at our shop located (enter location or link to contact page/google map) or we can arrange pick up for a fee.

 

 

How long does it take to dry?

You can walk on the freshly dyed carpet immediately.  The carpet will be slightly damp however the dyes are immediately colourfast.  The carpet will completely dry in a few hours.

 

 

How long will the new colour last?

Our dyes are permanent, and the new colour will last the life of the carpet.

 

 

Do you fix pet damage?

If your dog or cat has urinated on your carpet, you can be left with not only the smell but also a bleached effect on your carpet.  With our colour dyeing process, your carpet or rug will be left clean, odour and stain free.
